Parent Partnership Open Evening.

We had an open evening for parents to come and see videos of thier children at school and to discuss how parents can support thier children at school.

Whole school visit to Plymouth Museum and Art Gallery Oct 04




'I thought that Plymouth Museum was my favorite place because it's interesting to know how many things you can do with simple materials'
'In the afternoon we visited Plymouth Art Gallery we were greeted by three beautiful, exciting rooms of modern art by Shila'


The following day we had a whole school project about the artwork we saw in Plymouth. Every pupil made a collage in the morning entitled 'Story of Me' based on Shila's work which we saw in the art centre. In the afternoon each class carried out a recreation of one of the pictures seen in the museum. Copies of the pictures were cut into pieces and groups of children worked together to paint them. The pieces were then fitted together to make the whole work of art!
